Fix Frenzy
A 40-second reflex game: tap broken gadgets as they land on your nine benches, and keep your fingers off the sparking battery.
How to play
You have nine workbenches and 40 seconds. Broken gadgets appear on random benches and leave again after about a second. Tap one before it goes to fix it and score a point.
About one item in six is a sparking battery 💥. Tapping it costs a life, and you only have three. Letting a battery disappear on its own is free, so the right move is always to leave it alone.
What changes as the clock runs down
The game speeds up steadily. At the start a gadget stays on the bench for about 1.25 seconds and a new one arrives roughly every 0.7 seconds. By the final seconds they stay for about 0.65 seconds and arrive about twice as often, so most of your score comes from the second half.
Tips
- Look at the middle bench and use your peripheral vision. Chasing each gadget with your eyes is slower.
- A missed gadget costs nothing. A tapped battery costs a third of your lives. When in doubt, do not tap.
- On a phone, use two thumbs. On a desktop, keep the pointer near the centre between taps.
