ElectroFix Tycoon Beginner's Guide: Your First Five Days
How to start ElectroFix Tycoon well: the repair loop, which devices pay best, what to buy with your first $150, and what changes on days 3, 5 and 6.
On this page
ElectroFix Tycoon starts you with $150, 5 gems and one workbench. This guide covers what to do with them. Every number here comes from version 1.0.1 of the game; balance can change in later updates.
The repair loop
Every job has the same four steps, and early on you do all of them yourself:
- Drop-off. Check the customer’s device in at the counter. This takes about 1.3 seconds.
- Parts. Collect the parts the device needs.
- Repair. Carry it to a free workbench and wait for the repair to finish.
- Pick-up. Hand it back at the pick-up counter and collect the cash.
You can carry two devices at once at the start, so always move in pairs when the queue allows it.
Which devices pay best
New device types unlock as your player level rises. Bigger devices take longer but pay more per second of bench time.
| Device | Unlocks | Pay | Repair time | Parts | Profit per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Smartphone | Level 1 | $22 | 7 s | 1 screen ($8) | $2.00 |
| Headphones | Level 2 | $32 | 9 s | 1 audio cable ($7) | $2.78 |
| Game controller | Level 3 | $42 | 11 s | 1 battery ($10) | $2.91 |
| Tablet | Level 4 | $58 | 13 s | 2 screens ($16) | $3.23 |
| Laptop | Level 5 | $90 | 16 s | Thermal compound + battery ($22) | $4.25 |
A laptop earns more than twice as much per second on the bench as a smartphone. When you have a choice of what to carry, take the bigger job.
From level 3, about 15% of customers bring a premium device. It needs a $25 premium parts kit and pays 2.4 times the normal price, so a premium laptop is worth $216. Never let one walk out.
What to buy first
- Second Workbench ($150, level 2). It doubles what the shop can repair at once, on the same floor.
- A Technician ($200 to hire, $40 a day). A technician works a bench so repairs keep running while you fetch parts and serve the counter.
- Workshop Wing and Workbench #3 ($450, level 3). This widens the shop and makes room for a bigger waiting area.
A Water Cooler ($80, $5 a day upkeep) adds 5% to customer patience and is the cheapest comfort in the game. Buy it once the second bench is running.
What changes and when
| Day | What starts |
|---|---|
| 1 to 4 | No tax on your takings |
| 3 | Thieves can appear when $40 or more is sitting on the counter |
| 5 | Tax begins (5% below player level 5), and benches can catch fire |
| 6 | Slow and busy days begin, and staff can fall ill |
Customers start with 95 seconds of patience on day 1 and lose 3 seconds each day, down to a floor of 50 seconds on day 16. The game gets less forgiving on a fixed schedule, so the first four tax-free days are when you should grow fastest.
Common early mistakes
- Upgrading one bench many levels before buying the second bench. Two level 1 benches beat one level 3 bench.
- Leaving devices sitting on a bench. From day 5, a bench with unrepaired devices on it for 90 seconds overheats and catches fire.
- Skipping the daily reward. The seven-day login streak pays cash and 21 gems in total, and missing a day resets it.

ElectroFix Tycoon Beginner's Guide: FAQ
What should I buy first in ElectroFix Tycoon?
The Second Workbench ($150, player level 2), then a Technician ($200 to hire, $40 a day). Two benches with a technician repair far more than one upgraded bench.
Which device pays best in ElectroFix Tycoon?
The laptop. It pays $90 for a 16-second repair, about $4.25 of profit per second after parts, more than double a smartphone's $2.00.
When do thieves start appearing in ElectroFix Tycoon?
From day 3, and only when $40 or more is sitting on the counter. Collecting cash often prevents them.
