ElectroFix Tycoon Waiting Area Guide: Comforts, Patience and Walkouts
Every waiting-area comfort in ElectroFix Tycoon with its cost, upkeep and patience bonus, which ones are worth buying, and how patience really works.

A customer who runs out of patience walks out, and a walkout is a repair you never get paid for. This guide covers everything that affects patience. Numbers are from version 1.0.1 and can change with balance updates.
How patience works
Customers arrive with 95 seconds of patience on day 1. That falls by 3 seconds a day until it reaches a floor of 50 seconds on day 16. Everything in this guide works as a percentage on top of that base, so comforts matter more as the days go by.
Two other things to know:
- From day 4, some customers are in a hurry. They have half the patience but pay 50% more. The share starts at 5% and rises 5% a day to a maximum of 30%.
- A waiting customer has a 22% chance of falling asleep.

Each comfort also adds $4 a day to your electricity bill.
Which comforts are worth it
Measured as patience gained per dollar of daily upkeep:

The first three comforts are the bargain: 14% patience for $19 a day. The Television is the best mid-game purchase. Air Conditioning gives the biggest single early bonus but costs the most to run.
The Waiting Area upgrade
Separate from comforts, the Waiting Area upgrade adds a seat, a queue spot and 1% patience per level. It also moves up a class at levels 4, 8, 15, 25 and 40, and every new class adds 5% patience.
Build times
Comforts are built on the real clock. The Water Cooler takes 20 seconds, the Coffee Machine 30 minutes, the Television 2 hours and Air Conditioning 8 hours. The largest take days. Start long builds before you close the game.
Washrooms
Washrooms unlock on day 30, or earlier if you reach player level 12. Level 1 costs $3,000 and adds 8% patience while the washroom is clean, with 1% more per level. If it gets too dirty the bonus is lost, which is what the Housekeeper is for.
